Apopka Highland Manor Wedding Photographer

Photographer Nelson had a blast capturing Jennifer and Terrence’s wedding at The Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida! The day started early at the The Hilton Garden Inn next door with Jennifer getting glammed up by True Love Bridal Beauty while Nelson was capturing the bridal wedding details such as the rings, shoes, and jewelry! He also captured Jennifer’s beautiful dress while everyone was finishing up getting ready! After this, Jennifer got into her dress and Nelson went down to meet Terrence and his groomsmen! He captured some getting ready portraits with them, headed back up to photograph Jennifer in her dress, with help from her mom, and then it was time for the first look! Jennifer did a first look with her dad, and it was such a sweet and emotional moment for everyone! The ceremony time was quickly approaching, so Nelson ran to grab some details of the ceremony space, then it was time for the ceremony to begin!

Jennifer was escorted by both her mom and dad down the aisle. As she came down the steps of the Highland Manor, Nelson felt the guests filled with excitement accompanied by the feeling of butterflies and sweaty palms by Terrence. It was at this moment when Terrence when saw Jennifer for the first time. All of the months of planning had led to this moment, and we loved capturing this part!! If you take a look at Jennifer and Terrence’s Engagement Session Blog, you’ll read that their first kiss was under a tree, and what better place to get married than under the oak tree at Highland Manor! Glynn Ferguson of Sensational Ceremonies led their gorgeous ceremony (after cheezin it up with that processional LOL), which consisted of a ring exchange, and a kiss to seal the deal! We captured family portraits and couple’s portraits around the venue following the ceremony. Now it was time to celebrate!

Highland Manor’s ballroom was beautifully decorated with florals from Clermont Florist and Wine Shop! To kick off the reception, Jennifer and Terrence shared their first dance as a married couple, and danced with their parents as well. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Dubsdread Catering, (seriously, it’s ALWAYS delicious) and shared speeches that filled the room with laughter! DJ Joe Marolis of Elegant Entertainment had everyone on the dance floor throughout their reception, which made candids so easy for us to capture! Jennifer and Terrence changed into traditional Vietnamese outfits as well later into the reception, and followed that with cutting the cake and of course more dancing! As the reception wrapped up, everyone said goodbye with a bubble grand exit as the newlyweds kissed and waved goodbye! To Jennifer and Terrence, thank you for such a fun wedding day!
