Ritz-Carlton Orlando New Years Eve Wedding Photographers

Wedding Photographer Michael and Nelson from Steven Miller Photography had the pleasure of capturing the New Year’s Eve Wedding of Dana and Dudley at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando FL! Our photographers began the day at St. George Orthodox Church for the ceremony along with the videographer Mark from Pro One Video! The wedding ceremony was officiated by Father Michael Ellias and held in the traditional Christian Orthodox tradition where crowns are placed on the heads of the bride and groom then they make a procession around the sacramental table three times! The couple also presented roses to both of their mothers!

At the end of the ceremony, the priest removes the crowns and blesses the couple one last time as they are now husband and wife. The couple links hands are then are separated by the priest using the Bible, reminding them that the only way their marriage can be broken is by God. After the wedding, we captured some family portraits inside the church then proceeded outside to get some personal portraits before they got into the Rolls Royce heading to the reception venue at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes!

When we arrived at the reception, we had some time before the cocktail hour to grab the bridal party portraits, which included their kids and close relatives. We then captured a few portraits of Dana and Dudley together before she changed into her evening dress! The ballroom was beautifully decorated with flowers from Flourish Productions and the wonderful meal, drinks, and cake was provided by the catering team at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes! The great tunes that kept the dance floor full and the photo booth busy were from Rhythm of the Night Productions! And for the kids, the Ritz provided a cotton candy machine and light sticks to keep them in party mode throughout the night!

As the clocked approached the midnight hour, everyone headed out to the lawn outside the ballroom to count down the New Year with champagne in hand! It was such an exciting moment to see the fireworks go off as families came together to ring in the New Year! After the fireworks, the party didn’t stop! The guests enjoyed rocking out until 1:30 am and were even still begging the DJs to play more songs! Congratulation Dana, and Dudley, you have no idea how much fun we had with you and how honored we were to capture such an important day for you!! We wish you both the very best! Happy New Years guys!!
