Player 1 Video Game Bar Tibet Butler Nature Preserve Photographer

Photographer Steven and Content Creator Jake had a blast capturing Kristen and Kraig’s engagement session! They asked us to photograph at two locations that mean a lot to them, the first being Player 1 Video Game Bar, and also Tibet Butler Nature Preserve. Both of these locations were not too far from the Disney area of Orlando, and these locations were perfect because it combined two of their favorite things to do together as a couple, play video games AND go on hikes! We brought our off-camera flashes and our Magmod light modifiers to light up Player 1 correctly, considering its dark and video-game friendly environment. We told Kristen and Kraig to grab a beer and plugin one of their favorite games, Super Smash Bros Ultimate! (Really their favorite game is Mario Kart, but this one made the most sense for where we could photograph!) After a few rounds, we took them around other spots in the bar for some photos. It was a lot of fun experimenting with this space, we really need to come back here and play games!

We then drove over to Tibet Butler Nature Preserve for a completely different environment. There were Florida native trails, animals, and flora everywhere! We hiked a bit while guiding Kristen and Kraig through different poses, which got them more comfortable with their posing and their photographer. They were absolute naturals! We also snuck in a few double exposures, which are a truly unique set of portraits to add onto your session!
