Photographer Michael, assisted by Sarah, had a great time photographing Lindsay and Roger’s beautiful wedding day at Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida! They began the sunny day in the couple’s rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Apopka capturing the getting ready process! The ladies were getting their hair and makeup done by the amazing Meagan Byrd at The Color Loft while the guys were changing into their tuxedos and prepping for the big day. In the meantime, photographer Michael, with assistant Sarah arranged and captured the beautiful flat lay of their details. The bride expressed her love for the bridal room at Highland Manor, so we made sure to photograph her beautiful dress from Lilly’s Bridal hanging on her customized hangar in the room. After everyone completed the getting ready process, they did a first look where the bride and groom get to see each other for the first time on their wedding day, but before the ceremony. This immediately calmed their nerves and brought such joy to their eyes! Following the couple’s first look, we captured the whole wedding party and separate bridesmaid and groomsmen pictures, and then it was time for Lindsay and Roger to get married!
Their outdoor wedding ceremony took place in the front lawn at Highland Manor under their iconic, beautiful oak tree! It was officiated by Rev. Tige from St Lukes Oviedo and while their family, friends, and wedding party were watching, they exchanged their own vows, placed rings on each other’s finger’s and sealed the ceremony with a kiss! Following the wedding ceremony, we captured portraits of their entire family, and then it was time for the reception!
The reception space was beautifully decorated with florals from In Bloom Florist, and rentals from W Drapings! When the guests entered, everyone sat down and began eating a delicious dinner catered by Dubsdread Catering, and a few family members gave speeches. After dinner, Lindsay tossed her bouquet, and Roger tossed her garter! After this, the guests and the couple partied all night long with music from White Rose Entertainment, and they even had a cigar roller from CF Dominicana in their reception space! The guests then lined up and created a tunnel filled with bubbles for Lindsay and Roger’s grand exit, what an amazing way to end the night! We want to give a huge thanks to Lindsay and Roger for letting us be a part of their big day, and we wish you both all the best!
