The Highland Manor Apopka Wedding Photographer

Photographer Steven and his assistant Vanessa had such an amazing time capturing Rachel and Will’s wedding day at The Highland Manor Apopka! Rachel and Will are such a sweet genuine couple, and we knew from the moment we met during our consult that we’d be a great fit together. Their love story began way back in high-school, and now Rachel is a veterinarian and Will is an electrical engineer! We captured their day for four hours, so we covered a small amount of getting ready, their first look, the ceremony, couple’s and family portraits, and a bit of their reception!

The day started off getting ready at the Hilton Garden Inn right across the street from the Highland Manor. This makes life so much easier when the getting ready venue is right next door to their ceremony and reception venues! As they were wrapping up hair and makeup by Kristy’s Artistry Design Team, we took Rachel’s dress to her bridal suite in Highland Manor to save time on their timeline. Once Rachel made her way over to the main venue, we took her to meet Will on the steps right in front of the house for their first look. The weather and lighting was so perfect, and we loved their genuine smiles and laughs when they saw each other! We then moved onto portraits around the property, and they were so patient with the millions of poses we wanted them to do! After this, it was time for the ceremony! Rachel and Will exchanged rings, vows, sealed the deal with a kiss, and Will broke glass at the end of the ceremony! We followed the ceremony with a giant group photo with all of their guests, then did family portraits of smaller groupings. Now its time to celebrate! They held their reception in the Oak Room which was beautifully decorated by Atmospheres Floral, a cake by Publix, and guests enjoyed delicious food catered by Dubsdread Catering. Since they didn’t have a dj, Photographer Steven helped with announcing speeches! Once we captured those, we congratulated the newly weds and said our goodbyes. To Rachel and Will, thank you for such a fun and lighthearted wedding day! Congratulations again!
