Photographer Steven and assistant Melody had a blast capturing Carly and Alex’s wedding at Dubsdread Historic Ballroom! We started off the day meeting Carly and her bride squad getting all glammed up by JULIANA Makeup and Hair Group at Crowne Plaza Downtown Orlando! We immediately started crafting their wedding flat lay, which is such a great opportunity to capture all of your details in one beautiful photo! We got a few getting ready photos of Carly and her bridesmaids, then we made our way over to say hello to Alex and his groomsmen! We captured getting ready details of them, and at one point Alex insisted that Steven sit down and play a round of Rocket League with him LOL! This is one of the first times Melody grabbed the camera and captured some shots lol! After that, we made our way back to Carly’s room to photograph her getting into her beautiful bridal gown by Nicole Maree Bridal and made our way over to Dubsdread immediately after to prepare for first looks. Once the bride and groom arrived, we set up a first look with Carly and her dad and brothers which was such a sweet moment they shared privately! It was then time for Alex to see Carly for the first time. This moment was so heartwarming to capture, and they even read and exchanged personal vows to each other which we caught from afar. Have tissues ready when looking at these photos :). We then moved into wedding party portraits and portraits of the bride/groom, then it was time for the wedding ceremony!
The ceremony was led by a family friend and consisted of a ring exchange, prayer, and of course a kiss to seal the deal! At one point he asked Carly and Alex to take a moment and look around, and to cherish the moment during their ceremony. Such a good idea considering how fast wedding days fly! As guests made their way to cocktail hour, we captured family portraits, then it was time to party! Their wedding reception started off with some awesome entrances from the wedding party, then a first dance by the newlyweds. Everyone then enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Dubsdread Catering and wrapped up dinner with parent dances and cake cutting! Check out the dessert table from Florida Candy Buffets, it was epic! Then, Zohler Sobel Entertainment kicked off the party with everyone on the dance floor and kept it packed all night long! After some dancing, we snuck the couple outside for some night portraits and a couple of photos of Carly and Alex enjoying ice cream in the Kelly’s Ice Cream Truck! After going back inside and spending some time with their guests on the dance floor, the night wrapped up with Carly and Alex having a private last dance while everyone lined up for their exit. When all of their guests were ready, Carly and Alex said their goodbyes by running through bubbles as their guests cheered them on!
