We are so excited to share Candice and Joe’s amazing wedding day captured by Photographer Nelson at Historic Venue 1902! Photographer Nelson started off the day capturing Candice’s details while she was getting glammed up by Travis and Nicole with Rymer Hair and Makeup. During this time, we also said hello to Joe and his guys, then hopped back over to Candice’s room for final touch ups and to get in her gorgeous dress. Candice had a super sweet first look with her dad; he peeked around the doorway to see that his daughter Candice was waiting; you could see the excitement in his face as he walked in! After this, Candice quickly got her makeup touched up after sharing some happy tears, and then we moved on to the first look with Joe. Photographer Nelson positioned Joe under a tree with his back towards Candice, and we then had Candice walk up behind him. This moment had her in tears of excitement and joy again, and we loved when Joe turned around and just look at that reaction! They both admired each others looks and expressed the joy of the day! After this touching moment, we moved onto capturing couple’s portraits, family portraits, and bridal party portraits, and then it was time for the ceremony!
The ceremony was officiated by Candice and Joe’s friend, Amelia Lane. When the processional began, Photographer Nelson noticed the flower girl was a little nervous walking down the aisle. Candice’s brother decided to help by carrying her down the aisle and tossed the flowers up as if he were the flower person himself which was so funny and gave the guests some laughs! Then, it was time for Dad to lead Candice to meet Joe one last time before she was married. Dad held her hand tight looking like he didn’t want to let go. Joe came down the stage to shake and hug his father in-law then lead Candice up the stairs. Their indoor ceremony location was actually the historic cafeteria for this school, so it has a beautiful stage at the front of the room that’s ideal for the ‘altar’. The ceremony consisted of the ring exchange, vows, and a kiss to seal the deal! They then ran over to ring the old school house bell which is super unique to the venue, Historic Venue 1902! Photographer Nelson then captured a few more portraits of Candice and Joe, and then it was time to celebrate!
The newlyweds joined cocktail hour to mingle with family while Photographer Nelson captured detail shots of the reception. The tablescapes were gorgeous, check out the floral from Plant Street Flower Cart! Following cocktail hour, Candice and Joe ran into their grand entrance with a choreographed dance; very impressive! LOVE the expressions they made when they knew they rocked it! Everyone got to enjoy an amazing dinner catered by TableTop Catering, listened to speeches and toasts, and enjoyed the father/daughter dance as well as the mother/son. After this, DJ Danny Garcia kept the party going all night! Guests also enjoyed a delicious wedding cake by Anna Cakes, and yummy cookies from The Cookie Jar Orlando! When everyone started to wind down, guests lined up outside the venue to prepare for the grand exit as Candice and Joe shared a private last dance. They then exited through their bubble grand exit to end the night! To Candice and Joe, congratulations, and thank you for such a fun wedding day filled with beautiful emotions! We wish you nothing but love and happiness in your future!
