Weddings at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Drive

We so enjoyed photographing Maria and David’s elegant wedding day at the Hyatt Regency Orlando! We’re so happy that weddings are returning to our favorite wedding venues, Hyatt Regency Orlando has so many photo-opportunities around the entire property! We began the day in Maria’s bridal suite in Hyatt, with HaryMakeupStudio providing her makeup. She showed us her earrings, which had been passed down in her family for at least 4 generations, since the 1800’s! Their beautiful bouquets and wedding floral arrangements were all created by Lowe and Behold! After capturing her prep, photos with her gorgeous wedding gown, and a quick cheers with her bridesmaids, we proceeded over to St James Cathedral, right in Downtown Orlando, for their indoor church ceremony.

Their wedding ceremony was so sweet, David was already tearing up before he even saw Maria for the first time in her dress. Father Matthew officiated their ceremony, and we captured their ring exchange, vows, and of course the kiss! We immediately captured family portraits on the alter after the ceremony, and Maria and David then traveled in style via Rolls Royce (from VIP Transportation) to the Hyatt Regency Orlando for their indoor wedding reception.

Before we proceeded inside, we captured their bridal party and personal portraits around and within the Hyatt, with absolutely gorgeous weather! By circumstance, the Mr. Olympia conference was taking place at Hyatt, and David got to meet and get a photo with Jay Cutler! After the portraits, their wedding reception began with DJ Luis of Dash of Class Entertainment providing the music, lighting, and fun wedding photobooth! They even provided a violinist during dinnertime as live entertainment! Check out the beautiful draping provided by Swag Decor, always an elegant addition to a ballroom reception. Their wedding reception was an absolute blast to photograph, with a fun La Hora Loca at the end of the night! One of our favorite photos that night was immediately after a confetti cannon was fired, with everyone wearing glasses, masks, and waving flags around, unbelievable energy to surround Maria and David, and a great way to end the wedding!

We always love when couples hire a wedding planner! Stephany and her team at Hyatt Regency Orlando were also so great to work with, and we can’t thank them enough for all of their help.
