Dubsdread Golf Course Wedding Photographers

Our wedding associate photographer Nelson had such a great time getting to know and photographing Sydney and Mike’s wedding day at one of our favorite historic wedding venues in Orlando, Dubsdread Ballroom! This wedding venue sits on a historic golf course on Par Street, and has been an icon to the area for almost a century. Nelson began the day capturing bridal preparations with Sydney in her suite, with hair services by Your House of Beauty and makeup from Ashley Arms Artistry! He grabbed their invitation suite as well for some bridal detail shots. We always love when our couples bring their save the dates, invites, and wedding day details for flat lays. It’s a great way to showcase all of the small details that will be a part of the wedding. We also caught up with Mike’s finishing touches with his family in the board room, then snuck em out for some quick photos together. Once they were both ready, we headed outside for their wedding ceremony.

Their ceremony took place under the old live oak trees in Dubsdread’s terrace, and note the sweet memory photo and frame of Sydney’s dad in the front row. Ling’s Moments also provided all of the silk floral elements! Glynn Ferguson of Sensational Ceremonies officiated their beautiful ceremony, which consisted of the vows, ring exchange (a few tears), and of course the big kiss! We followed the ceremony with family and wedding portraits, and of course some lovey-dovey portraits of the new Mr and Mrs!

Inside, the historic ballroom was decorated with so many fun wedding reception details! Their beautiful cakes were designed by Cake & Bake, and had cookie desserts on the tables by Sweet Tooth Confections. As always, Dubsdread Catering provided their own bar and delicious catering for dinner, but before dinner, Sydney and Mike shared a fun introduction, first dance, as well as family dances with Sydney and her dad’s photo plus Mike and his daughters. After dinner, they cut the cake and shared a bite before they started tearing up the dance floor with Weddings Only DJ Entertainment, and we said our goodbyes to the newlyweds. We cannot thank Sydney and Mike enough for trusting us with their wedding day, and we’ve gotten so much joy out of getting to know them along the way! We hope they enjoy this sneak peek and share a lifetime of happiness together! Congratulations!! 💕📷🥂
