Wedding Photos at Highland Manor Apopka Orlando

Where do we begin with this wedding?! Our friends Joanna and Brian recently tied the knot at the beautiful Highland Manor, in Apopka, FL, and what an amazing day it was! We began with Joanna’s preparations within her bridal suite upstairs, with her bridal hair and makeup already complete with Kristy’s Artistry Design Team! Once ready, we took Brian outside for some quick preparation shots and set him up for their sweet intimate first look! See the autograph from Andrew McMahon on Brian’s shoes?! For the first look, Joanna walked up behind Brian and tap him on his shoulder! Once he turned around, they couldn’t help but smile, laugh, and cry!! Such a sweet moment, and we followed up with portraits around Highland Manor before their outdoor wedding ceremony!

Their ceremony took place beneath a beautiful historic Florida Oak Tree! Their friend Charlie Rasmann officiated the beautiful ceremony, with a Harry Potter book in hand of course! After exchanging their handwritten vows, knot-tying ceremony, and the kiss, we captured their family portraits and took them around for a few more portraits before heading inside for their indoor ballroom wedding reception!

The details for their wedding reception were amazing, and much of it handmade! Notice the cool centerpieces!? Each piece was hand-crafted and cut to resemble silhouettes of Disney characters, placed in wood containers! Of course their sweetheart table housed the 101 Dalmations characters Perdita and Pongo! Their wedding dessert table was created by Sugarbuzz Dezert Company, and Standing Ovation Entertainment lit up the room with beautiful lighting! They rocked the dance floor too, with some fun games and music throughout the night! Joanna and Brian pulled out the parachute as well during one of their favorite songs, Synesthesia by Andrew McMahon!! So much fun to capture!! We truly love it when couples make their wedding unique with their passions they share together! We had such an amazing wedding day with these two, and who knows which concert we’ll run into them at next!! ;)
