Southern Hill Farms Proposal Photographer

Photographer Steven had such a great time capturing Juan and Amy’s sweet proposal! Juan and Steven were friends back when we used to capture Orlando City Soccer Club games, and he reached out to us recently wanting to pop the big question to his girlfriend Amy! Juan found a very beautiful venue called Southern Hill Farms (which is actually a popular Clermont wedding venue as well), as he was looking for a field of sunflowers for his backdrop. He asked Steven to help capture this special moment and keep it a surprise, so they scheduled a call and planned out their strategy!

On the day Juan popped the question, Amy also brought her sister and niece, as it was disguised as a fun family day at the farm for their annual fall festival! This helped all of us keep the proposal a secret from Amy, perfect! Photographer Steven had Juan walk them over to where he was already setup in the sunflower field, and told them to start taking fun family photos together. Steven then offered to take a photo of all of them on their cell phone, then had her niece and sister step out, recognizing Juan & Amy as a couple. Once Steven announced “I got it!” this was Juan’s cue to drop down on one knee and ask the question! Of course, Amy said YES! Steven captured a few more portraits to show off the new bling, and then Amy and Juan announced to their family that they are now engaged! 🙂 To Amy and Juan, we are so happy for you, and thank you for sharing such a sweet moment with us!
