Orlando Wedding Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Orlando Wedding Photographers Nelson and Michael of Steven Miller Photography spent the day capturing the sweet wedding of Ashley and Joey at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, FL! Nelson began the day with Ashley in her bridal suite getting ready with her bridal party as hair and makeup were finishing up with Karmel Design Team! We took the opportunity to capture some great shots of her dress and all her bridal accessories especially her custom-made Converse shoes with her wedding date stitched on them! Once she was ready, Nelson captured pictures of Ashley and her bridesmaids as they were helping her get into her wedding dress! Once she was ready, Ashley requested to have a first look with her father in her bridal suite; such a sweet moment! While Nelson was with Ashley, Michael was capturing Joey and his groomsmen getting ready at another suite at the Hyatt! Whenever brides and grooms both get ready at the same venue, we try our hardest to make sure they don’t run into each other by accident!

Due to the weather, the ceremony was moved indoors to Hyatt’s La Coquina Ballroom! The ceremony began with a reading by her brother from the book “The Art of Marriage” by Wilferd A. Peterson! They then followed with the exchanged of vows, rings, and their I Do’s! After the ceremony, the sun made an appearance, and we were able to capture the family portraits along with bridal party shots outside! Before we headed back inside for the indoor wedding reception at La Coquina Ballroom, we finished the session with Ashley and Joey’s bridal portraits!

At the wedding reception, DJ CuddleFish did a fantastic job playing the first dance tunes and kept the dance floor packed throughout the night! The couple chose not to have the traditional wedding cake instead they had pie as a dessert for their guests! We think you can tell that they REALLY liked their pie! :) The decorations and catering were provided by Nicole and her team at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress! Congratulations Ashley and Joey this was such a great wedding and a fun night! We wish you both SO MUCH happiness! Thank you for letting us share it with you!
