Photographer Steven had such a blast throwing it back to the 80’s and 90’s with the Salgueiro’s family portraits! This family is so special to us, we captured their wedding way back in 2016, and have been photographing their family portraits ever since! Each year they have a fun creative idea for their session, and now that their two little ones are old enough to take some creative direction, we’ve been stepping it up! This year, they had the cutest idea of going retro, including jean jackets, athletic tracksuits, and bold colors from the 80’s and 90’s! We always love when families want to do something original, so we had a lot of fun with this one! At the beginning of the session, we brought an old-school backdrop to their home to give the photos the vintage, studio vibe. We played around with fun poses like looking away from the camera, and action shots in their tracksuits! After the session and during editing, Steven added in a few fun vintage-style filters to make them look more authentic, and Steven had a FUN time making these!
