Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate Wedding Photographer

We have been looking forward to this wedding ever since we captured their engagement session last year, so we’re pretty excited to post this sneak peek today! Photographer Steven and second photographer Michael had the privilege of capturing Nick and Jonnie’s wedding day at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. To start with details, we crafted the flat lay with details Jonnie gathered ahead of time for us which always helps us save time in the wedding day timeline! Hair and makeup by M3 Makeup was a present for their wedding party and moms, which they were all super thankful for! Having a second photographer has a lot of upsides as well, especially in the beginning portion of the day because we can capture the preparations simultaneously! After everyone was ready, we took Nick and Jonnie outside for their first look together, which was very emotional and so sweet. You can tell through the photos how excited they were to see each other! After the first look, we captured couple’s portraits and wedding party portraits. For variety, we did some together, separate, with attitude, and with smiles, all of the things! Then, it was time to head over to the ceremony!

The ceremony was setup at the Omni’s beautiful terrace right outside of the Grand Salon. Nick and Jonnie’s ceremony was officiated by Brian, a family friend, and it was filled with jokes, laughs, inside jokes, and happy tears. They said their personal vows to each other, exchanged rings, and kissed to seal the deal! After the ceremony, we captured their family portraits, and ran into the open field across the way to catch the sunset for some golden hour photos and videos with Tony from Cona Studios by our side. While Photographer Steven was capturing this, second photographer Michael snuck inside to capture room shots of the Salon Ballroom for their reception.

The reception began with Nick and Jonnie running into their ballroom giving high fives to their guests before settling in for dinner, it was so much fun! The ballroom was beautifully decorated by Flower Power, and guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks from the Omni. We wrapped up dinner with parent dances, their first dance with them dancing on the clouds by I Rock Your Party which was a dream! As a late night snack, they introduced their Queso Fountain from Chuys, which was absolutely delicious, and Steven can personally attest to that LOL! Guests danced all night with glow sticks, and took photos at the photo booth provided by Gala Photo Booth. Everyone also enjoyed delicious cake by Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique (which Steven can also attest to!) Special shout out to Nicole with Just Marry! for planning and executing a seamless wedding day! During dancing, Steven snuck our awesome couple out for a few extra portraits before we said goodbye. To Nick and Jonnie, it was an absolute blast capturing your wedding day!
