Mt Dora Wedding Photographers Steven Miller and assistant Tammy had a blast capturing the wedding of Samantha and Michael at the Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora, Florida! We started out the day capturing preparations of the couple, and walked back and forth from their two separate buildings at the hotel! With the help of hairstylist, and longtime friend, Brandi Mincey from Synergy Hair Loft and makeup artist Dennis Dunham from Bloomingdale’s in Millenia Mall, Samantha was able to get ready for the big day! The beautiful flower arrangements and bouquets were crafted by Reidsville Florist which is owned by a family friend all the way from North Carolina! So awesome that all of the couples family and friends were able to help out so closely with this wedding! Right before our first look with Sam and Michael, it started raining in a typical Florida fashion! They say rain on a wedding day is good luck, so we think we can safely say that Sam and Michael had plenty of good luck that day! Instead, we setup their intimate first look on the front porch of the hotel and it was a super sweet moment for sure! Thankfully, the rain cleared up enough for us to take bridal party portraits, as well as personal portraits around downtown Mt Dora!

It was then time to head back to the Lakeside Inn for the couples lakeside wedding ceremony! Unfortunately, the rain started yet again, but that did not stop the couple from walking down the aisle and getting married!! They were so eager for their big day that no amount of rain could stop them! The ceremony was officiated by Major Teresa Newsome and Major Leona O’Bryant. With their family and friends as witness, they exchanged their “I do’s” and sealed the deal with the much anticipated kiss! We then took family portraits and a few stunning portraits by the lake, utilizing that amazing sunset that comes around after a good afternoon rain! We then headed back inside the Lakeside Inn where the indoor wedding reception was held! Grant Hemond Associates did a fantastic job keeping everyone on the dance floor and the amazing cake was created by Incredible Edible Cakes! This was such a fun wedding and everyone had an absolutely blast! We were able to sneak the wedding couple out during the reception for some spectacular night portraits in front of and around the Lakeside Inn! When it was time, they had a grand sparkler exit; the perfect ending to a perfect day! Thanks to event planners from Never Settle Events, Sam and Michael’s day went very smoothly, and we appreciate their wedding coordination throughout the day! We are so glad to have been part of this special day and we wish the couple all the best for the future!
