Margaritaville Orlando Resort Wedding Photography

Photographer Steven had such a blast capturing Kate and Bruce’s wedding day at Margaritaville Resort Orlando! We knew that Kate and Bruce were going to be fun and different, and their wedding day was no exception. We started off the day meeting our beautiful bride Kate and our awesome groom Bruce in their room and took some detail shots as the ladies finished getting their hair and makeup done by Beauty Brigade. After capturing their details, Steven went downstairs to the ballroom and captured their cupcake display quickly. We wanted to make sure to capture these before the guests ate them all, since it was setup early! Unlike the traditional order of events: ceremony, cocktail hour, then reception, Kate and Bruce had their ceremony after the cocktail hour, which we loved, and gave such a chill vibe to the wedding guests! So, after capturing the cupcakes, Steven met back up with the couple and took them outside to the dock area to recreate a first look moment and took some couples portraits, then we released the couple to greet their guests in cocktail hour! After saying hello to their guests, it was time for the ceremony!

The outdoor wedding ceremony was lead by Catherine (The Ginger Officiant) and included a ring exchange, personal vows, and of course a kiss to seal the deal! We were so happy to see the joy and happiness in this moment, and Kate making sure she knew which hand to place his ring loll! We always love how much personality Catherine (the ginger officiant) puts into her ceremonies! All of the guests were then asked to join the reception in the ballroom while we captured some family portraits. Then, Kate and Bruce enjoyed time with their guests and grabbed a bite to eat! After this, we grabbed Kate and Bruce one last time for some couple’s portraits around the resort, and we made sure to hit up the iconic flip flop in Margaritaville’s lobby! To Kate and Bruce, thank you so much for this awesome experience! We really enjoyed how silly and goofy Kate and Bruce were and how much they insisted on doing things the way they wanted to on their wedding day, which ended up being very laid back, silly, and hilarious! To Kate and Bruce, we wish you nothing but love and happiness in your future!
