Photographer Steven Miller and assistant Megan had an amazing time capturing the wedding of Maggie and Kendrick at the Longwood Community Building in Longwood, FL! We started with the bridal preparations, which is so convenient considering that the Longwood Community Building provided two separate suites for the bride and groom to get ready! With hair and makeup services provided by Crystal from Weddings by Crystal, Maggie was able to get ready for her big day with her bridesmaids by her side! In Bloom Florist created the incredible floral arrangements, which they always do! :) After preparations, we met up with Kendrick outside, in front of the gazebo for his intimate first look with Maggie! Such an absolutely sweet moment, she tapped him on the shoulder so he could turn around and see his beautiful bride for the first time! We followed that with bridal party portraits, and then some personal portraits of the couple! Afterwards, we took an Uber over to Reiter Park for their outdoor amphitheater wedding ceremony! We noticed that the park was recently landscaped with a ton of beautiful native Florida trees and plants, including milkweed which benefits the endangered Monarch butterflies, it was awesome!
The ceremony was held at Reiter Park in Longwood, FL and was officiated by Rev. Dr. John A. Dalles, Maggie’s pastor at her previous home church, Wekiva Presbyterian! The couple exchanged their vows and rings then said their I-Dos! After the outdoor ceremony, we captured the family portraits along with bridal party photos but before we proceeded back inside for their reception at Longwood Community Building, we finished our portraits session with Maggie and Kendrick!
DJs Frank and Charles of White Rose Entertainment did an amazing job uplighting the ballroom and playing the tunes that kept the dance floor packed before and after the evening ended! Many of the guests also enjoyed taking pictures of themselves in the photo booth, also provided by White Rose Entertainment! Magic Occasions Catering provided all the amazing food, drinks and decorations! The cake was created by Small Cakes Cupcake and Creamery which looked yummy alongside all the cupcakes! After the cake cutting, we snuck the couple outside for some night portraits (pretty tough with the streetlights!) and at the end of the night, it was time to say farewell to our couple! Maggie and Kendrick had a grand glow stick exit that took them all the way to their shiny Ford Mustang! They left in style and next stop was their European Honeymoon! It was such a fun day, and we wish them SO MUCH happiness in their future together! Thank you for letting us share this wedding day with you! We will still be pestering you guys for a night session under the stars! :)
