We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for Jordan and Kyle’s wedding day at Highland Manor, one of our favorite wedding venues in Apopka and Orlando! Wedding photographer Michael and assistant John began their wedding day capturing bridal preparations at Highland. However…not in the bridal suite, but instead in the Beauty Bus! How cool is that?! Once she and her bridesmaids were all set, we walked from the Hilton Garden Inn up to the bridal suite in Highland Manor and captured a few more wedding detail photos before it was time to step into her gorgeous bridal gown. Jordan then had a sweet dress reveal to her bridesmaids, then a first look with her dad, which were both super-sweet moments! Their floral arrangements and bouquets were created by The Coffee Garden Orlando, and her wedding dress was Stella York, from Debra’s Bridal.
Now the next moment to capture was a first touch between Jordan and Kyle. We positioned them around one of the doorways downstairs so they could hold hands without seeing each other! Now they didn’t originally want to do a first look, but photographer Michael was able to convince them to give it a chance, and we are SO glad they did. We took Kyle outside and had Jordan sneak behind him and have him turn around; there were so many happy tears! :) Now that we did the first look, we had time to capture bridal party and personal bridal portraits all before the ceremony! Note Kyle’s dapper tux from Generation Tux!
Jordan and Kyle exchanged their vows and rings under Highland Manor’s gorgeous historic live-oak tree, with their friend officiating! After their ceremony and kiss, we captured some family portraits on the steps of Highland, some additional portraits, and then proceeded inside for some reception detail photos.
Their wedding reception was definitely one to remember! DJ Justin of Soundwave had their ballroom glowing with their signature wedding uplighting, and of course kicking music! We captured Jordan and Kyle’s introductions, first dance, and parent dances. Their decor was beautiful, and check out that dessert table, with the wedding cake created by Aunt Gingybreads. After dinner, the party started, and it came time for the garter and bouquet toss. Here’s where it gets fun!
All of the single guys made sure that groomsman Justin caught the garter. During Jordan’s bouquet toss, Jordan opted out of the toss at the last minute and passed it directly to bridesmaid Mallory. As soon as she grabbed it, Justin was right behind her…on one knee…with ring in hand!!
The bride and groom both helped plan this super special moment, and everyone was SO happy for them! Michael made sure to snap a few portraits of these two during the reception as well! We also captured a super-fun shoe game with Jordan and Kyle, and we snuck them out into the front yard for some night portraits, before their last dance and bubble send off! We have to give a special thanks to Live Happy Studio, who provided wedding videography throughout the day, they are always so much fun to work beside! Also, to Dubsdread Catering for their delicious food and amazing wedding team at Highland Manor! Congratulations Jordan and Kyle, we had such a great time capturing this amazing wedding day! :)
