Hickory Point Recreation Park Wedding Photographer on Lake Harris

Photographer Steve and his assistant Anthony had such a great time capturing Jacqueline and Christopher’s wedding day at Hickory Point Recreation Park! This amazing couple was referred to us by a great friend, and we are so glad they trusted us with such an important day. Both of them got ready onsite, and we arrived just before the ceremony to catch those last little moments! Final touch ups, some laughs, and then it was time to head upstairs to the ceremony! It overlooked Lake Harris which made for such a beautiful and unforgettable backdrop. Christopher definitely brought his engineer mindset into the day and had everything fully set up for streaming so guests who could not make it could still be part of it! The ceremony itself was simple and really sweet. Said their vows, exchanged rings, and kissed to seal the deal! Jacqueline’s two boys held onto the rings, and it made for such a fun and meaningful moment. After ceremony, we headed outside for family photos, wedding party, and portraits of the newlyweds. This venue has so many great spots, especially with all the walkways by the water, so we were able to move around and get a ton of variety without going far! The sun stayed hidden for most of the day, but that did not slow us down! We brought in some lighting to give their portraits that warm glow and it turned out so good! After this, it was time for reception! The dinner was catered by Oakwood Smokehouse and Grill and it was a hit with everyone. We spent time capturing some details and fun on the dance floor! Jacqueline and Christopher are the kind of couple that make what we do so enjoyable, and their friends and family were a perfect reflection of that.
