Caitlin and Jason’s wedding day was such a blast to photograph with Steven Miller, and we’ve been anticipating this day for quite a while now! We began their big day at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Orlando, and we love it when both the bride and groom both get ready at the same property. This helps eliminate the need for a 2nd photographer and help balance our couples’ budgets! We first said hi to Caitlin and her bridesmaids, who were currently getting bridal hair and makeup finished up by the Laura Reynolds Artistry team! We made sure to take a lot of Caitlin’s bridal details and capture some gorgeous flat lays. Did you see their beautiful invitation suite created by The Knot? We also hopped over to Jason’s room to capture him and his boys getting dressed and making sure those jackets fit perfectly! It was then time for Caitlin to get into her beautiful wedding dress from Bridal Gallery of Orlando, and make sure she had all of her jewelry on before packing the wedding day bags! Once both Caitlin and Jason were dressed, ready and packed up, we hit the road all together in style to St Stephen Lutheran Church for their ceremony! VIP Transportation provided an awesome party bus for the bridal party, but just for ladies for now, since they weren’t seeing each other until the wedding ceremony!
Once we arrived at the church, we made sure Caitlin was in her holding room, and snuck a few portraits in between prayers with Pastor Schenkel, and also made sure to pin the boutineers from Lowe and Behold on the boys! It was then time for their indoor catholic wedding ceremony! They exchanged their vows, the rings, and had communion before sealing the ceremony with a kiss! We captured their family portraits on the altar, then hopped back into the VIP party bus to make our way back to Downtown Orlando!
We raced against the sunset to grab portraits, and pitstopped at Lake Eola, in the heart of Downtown, for some portraits of the bridal party and the bride and groom! It poetically began drizzling as we finished up portraits, so we hopped back inside the bus and proceeded to the Balcony Orlando for their indoor wedding reception! The Balcony is such a great wedding venue, as it’s nestled between the downtown skyline of Orlando, with great views in every direction, and also boasts a comfortable indoor ballroom in case of weather! We were VERY happy to have that on this wedding day, but hey, rain is good luck right?! DJ Rey provided the great uplighting around the ballroom, and check out the cake from Hunter Morgan Desserts! Premier Event Services provided the wedding decor and catering, and My Bar Service supplied all the drinks to the guests! Their wedding reception was full of so much action and fun, and people were definitely ready to DANCE! Caitlin and Jason both incorporated personal and family dances, plus cake cutting, and we snuck em out to the outdoor patio for some fun downtown skyline portraits. Plus Photobooth Rocks provided the fun photobooth throughout their wedding reception as well! Before long, their last dance approached and it was time to say goodbye! Caitlin and Jason ran through two lines of their guests with glowsticks to bid everyone farewell and end such an amazing wedding day together! We have to give a special thanks to Sarah Southern and her amazing team at the Balcony for their wedding planning and coordination! Congratulations to our happy couple, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness and can’t thank you enough for booking us to capture your big day!💕📷
