Photographer Steven recently captured a corporate event at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate for a repeat client of ours. It’s a huge form of flattery to get repeat events like this, when the client brings us back every single year! This particular event is always a graduation ceremony, with awards, a class photo, and delicious banquet dinner. Like always, we started off the event by coordinating and staging the group shot of the graduates. We went outside for the best lighting, and instead of chairs this year, we used the Omni’s iconic staircase right outside of the main lobby. Their event this year ended up falling right on the same day as Hurricane Milton made landfall, so thankfully they were able to move up the event to the day before. The weather allowed us to grab that photo outside first, and after we captured the perfect group shot, all of the attendees went back inside to the Championsgate Ballroom to enjoy a delicious dinner and the awards ceremony. While covering the awards ceremony, we always make sure to repeat the same photos for every single award winner, including the posed group photos holding the awards for consistency. We can’t wait to see them next year, we always love capturing this event!
