Photographer Steven recently captured a corporate conference at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, in their Grand Ballroom GHI. We worked with Grand EOS, who was the DMC planner for this event. Our client booked us to specifically capture a graduation ceremony for their emerging leaders. Throughout the event, we captured handshakes with each graduate and the president, followed by individual posed photos, then group photos of their teams. Photographer Steven made sure to specify where the president was to stand on stage to maintain the best background, and helped guide the groups to the right spot and pose to ensure their photos looked their best on stage.
It’s very important to book a photographer who isn’t afraid to take charge and help anyone on stage with quick posing and fixes. For example, if anyone needs help opening up their diploma, turning their body, or even facial expression, we jump in for quick assistance. Of course in those moments, all eyes are on the stage, so it’s important to have that confidence to step in and help pose in just a few seconds! We followed the graduation ceremony with a group photo of all graduates and their mentors, which was close to 50 people. We then pulled in some chairs to incorporate a third layer of people to make the group more organized. We wrapped up the event and stayed for a few fun candids for anyone who wanted one.
