Photographer Steven and his assistant Jake were recently commissioned to photograph a multi-day corporate conference held at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. Jake was Steven’s live assistant to help with equipment and backing up imaged onsite! Day one consisted of a welcome meeting in their main ballroom and welcome reception at the Oystercatcher’s Restaurant which had a gorgeous bayfront with a sandy beach area! Party Down Florida provided the string lights and glow decor in the pool! They also had a live DJ, a hand-rolled cigar station, and outdoor games like cornhole. We always respect client’s request of attendee privacy, so you won’t see many photos of attendees in this blog. However, we definitely make sure we capture all of the fun, candid, and posed moments of groups at conferences and events.
Day two consisted of meetings, breakouts, and sessions at the hotel. The evening reception was held upstairs on their rooftop event space, with live dancing and Trade Show Magician, Erik Olson! The last day was more sessions and breakouts, and the closing reception was held at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Stadium! This was a super amazing space, they rented out the entire stadium! They had live music by the Life Atlantic Band, which was so much fun! They interacted a ton with the attendees. The stadium also gave tours of the grounds as well, including the locker rooms and on the field. With this, off-site venues are typically particular on security clearances and liability insurance, which we absolutely carry as professional photographers.
