Photographers Michael and Tammy of Steven Miller Photography had a blast capturing the wedding of Allison and Matt at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida! We began the day capturing preparations as the couple got ready for their big day! Kristy’s Artistry Design Team provided the fantastic hair and makeup services and the amazing flowers were delivered and created by Atmosphere’s Floral! Once Allison and Matt were ready, they shared an incredibly sweet first look, just the two of theme! We love first looks because it allows the couple a private moment that we get to capture for them! It also allows us to take most of the portraits before the ceremony, freeing up time once the ceremony is over for the couple to enjoy their cocktail hour as well as their reception! After the first look, we captured bridal party portraits as well as the couple’s personal portraits in and around the hotel! It was then time to head to the wedding ceremony!
The ceremony took place at the iconic Cypress Pointe, lakefront! Their outdoor wedding ceremony was officiated by good friend Sarah Gilmore. The couple also incorporated a few Jewish traditions such as the breaking of the glass at the end of the ceremony and (during the reception of course) the Hora Dance. We love when couples add their traditions to their special day! With their friends and family as witness, Allison and Matt said their vows and sealed the deal with the kiss! We teamed up with videographer Mark LeGrand of Pro One Video to make sure that every moment of their ceremony was captured! Once the ceremony was over, we captured family photos as well as a few more personal wedding portraits of the couple! We then proceeded to La Coquina for their indoor wedding reception! Allison and Matt are both UCF fans, so of course they included the college colors throughout their reception! White Rose Entertainment did a fantastic job with their signature up-lighting, as well as keeping the dance floor packed with their awesome music! We had such a blast at this wedding and we could tell their guests really enjoyed it too! We want to give a huge shout out to Tracy Johns from Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress and Leanna McDonald of Just Marry! for planning and coordinating such a beautiful day! We are so glad that Allison and Matt chose us to photograph their beautiful wedding and we wish the couple all the best in the future! Congratulations guys!!
