Dr Phillips House Weddings Orlando

We had a great time with Colby and William on their beautiful wedding day at the Dr Phillips House in the heart of Downtown Orlando! For this same-sex wedding, photographer Nelson began the day capturing their groom details alongside videographer Donte from D. Norwood Photography! Both of the grooms had custom vests tailored, with William in a sharp red and Colby in blue; they both looked dapper in them! These two were honestly one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever photographed! Once William and Colby were ready and had their boutonnieres from Dream Designs Florist pinned, we proceeded outside to stage their first look! We had William waiting by the gazebo for Colby, and once he arrived, we had them stand back to back! It was such an emotional moment when they both turned to look at each other! They held each other tight and then began to admire and complement each other; at one point, they even began to admire their custom socks! Afterwards, we continued with their portraits in and around the Dr Phillips House, then bridal party portraits of them with their bridesmaids before we headed to the outdoor wedding ceremony!

Before Colby and William made their way down the steps to the aisle, their cute little puppy, Greg, and their little nephew made their appearance as the ring bearers! As each groom made their way down the steps, they were greeted by their mothers and led down the aisle to meet their eager partner! As friends and family watched in anticipation, Colby and William were wed by a close friend who asked them to exchange their vows, and of course the kiss to seal the deal! Once the ceremony concluded, we captured family portraits, as it’s always the perfect time to capture all family on the wedding day!

William and Colby made their entrance into the dining room to begin their indoor wedding reception! This was followed by a special toast by Colby’s mother, who started her speech by quoting his childhood book “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch! How sweet is that? After the toast and speeches, it was time to enjoy the tasty food from Millenia Catering! Afterwards, it was time to party as everyone danced their way onto the patio to dance with rocking tunes by DJ Cierra of Our DJ Rocks! If the guests weren’t dancing, they were getting their pictures taken at the photo booth which was provided by Photobooth Rocks! Before we knew, it was time to cut into their yummy groom’s cake which was designed by Valhalla Bakery Orlando! We’d like to give a special thanks to Karin Hill of Hearts and Souls Event Management, who was such a big help in wedding planning and coordination throughout the day! As time always flies by on a wedding day, it was soon time for William and Colby to say their goodbyes with a unique rainbow glow stick wedding exit! We really want to congratulate Colby and William and thank them for letting us be a part of their special day!! This wedding day was such a blast to photograph, and congrats guys, you are the best!! :)
