Dr Phillips Center Orlando Wedding Photographer

Photographers Steven and Michael had such a great wedding day with Ashley and Chris, and we’ve been looking forward to this day for quite a while! The minute we captured their engagement session, Steven realized how sweet, genuine, and fun-loving this couple was, and how enjoyable their wedding day was going to be! Ashley and her bridesmaids began the wedding day with bridal preparations at the Sheraton Orlando North, in Maitland. The team at Gabriela Anthony Designs was hard at work with bridal hair and makeup when we arrived, so we made sure to grab some candids of their talent while other bridesmaids were hanging out sippin’ on some mimosas (check out their custom champagne glasses!). Photographer Michael met Chris and the boys at the aLoft Hotel right next door to Dr Phillips Center. Once the guys were dressed and ready, he took them over to Dr Phillips Center to pin their beautiful boutonnieres from In Bloom Florist. Ashley was in her gorgeous wedding dress shortly after, so Steven passed her the bouquet, and took her down the iconic spiral staircase for their first look! Ashley walked down the stairs towards her soon-to-be husband, tapped him on the shoulder, prompting him to turn around and see his beautiful bride for the first time. Just see his reaction, so perfect!!! We then took some time to capture personal portraits and family portraits prior to their ceremony, and once it was time, we proceeded up to the top floor of the Dr Phillips Center for their outdoor ceremony.

Dr Phillips has a beautiful outdoor balcony on the Kessler Tier, offering stunning views of downtown in all directions of their ceremony setup. In Bloom did such a great job with the floral details around the altar. Harri Rubi of Sensational Ceremonies officiated their wedding ceremony, incorporating their personal vows, ring exchange, and also a coin swapping ceremony and lasso ceremony with the parents as well! After their I-do’s and the kiss, we captured their bridal party and a handful of personal portraits around the venue, before heading upstairs to the DeVos Family room for their reception! DJ Jim with Fyerfly Productions had the ballroom decorated brilliantly, with custom gobos and stars on the wall, plus their uplighting and photobooth for the guests! A Chair Affair provided the chairs and decor in the room as well. We loved the blue centerpieces; they looked so great under candlelight! Once their Mariachi Band finished playing during cocktail hour, Ashley and Chris ran into the reception for their grand entrance, and celebrated their first dance and parent dances in front of their friends/family! Halfway through the reception, LED party shades and glow sticks were introduced to the dance floor, making for some awesome (and colorful) photos! We also snuck Ashley and Chris outside for some dramatic portraits in the main lawn of the Dr Phillips Center, before heading inside for their private last dance and fantastic streamer exit outside.

We have to give a special thanks to Tracy of Eventfully Yours for all of her wedding planning and coordination throughout the day. Dr Phillips is divided into five floors, so she and her team were so helpful in coordinating our migrations to different floors all day! We also really enjoyed working alongside Mandy of Love & Lustre Weddings who provided wedding videography beside us all day. Congrats to Ashley and Chris, we seriously loved every single minute of your big day, and we hope you enjoy your photos for a lifetime! We definitely loved being a part of it!! 💕🥂
