Weddings at Cypress Grove Estate House

Wedding photographer, Michael had an amazing time capturing the wedding of Stephen and Kelly at Cypress Grove Estate House in Orlando, FL! Michael began the day with Kelly as she got her bridal hair and makeup done! Once she was done, we took some pictures of her and her bridal party acting silly before Kelly got into her gorgeous wedding gown! Once Kelly was ready, she requested a first look with her dad, and it is always so touching to capture that heartfelt moment! Kelly also requested to have a first look with Stephen, but before she saw him she sent her Bridesman Joe in her place to see how Stephen would react! It was so funny to see Stephen’s reaction as he turned around hoping to see his bride and instead…just Joe dressed in a kilt! His expression was one of a kind, but he had to re-compose himself because Kelly was on her way! This was such a great moment to capture as the couple finally got to see each other, which always ends up alleviating a lot of wedding-day anxiety! Once they took a moment together, we all proceeded outside to capture some bridal portraits throughout the Estate before Mother Nature changed our plans!

The outdoor ceremony on the Estate House lawn had to be moved indoors due to the rain, but this did not dampen the occasion! Their wedding ceremony was held in one of the Estate rooms, and was filled with all their families and friends who watched as the officiant, Michael McCarthy, led the ceremony! As the couple read their vows and began to exchange their rings, Stephen ran into some problems as Kelly was about to place his ring! It seems Stephen forgot which hand was his ring hand and kept giving Kelly his right hand! Poor Stephen; for the remainder of wedding day, no one would let him forget it! After the ceremony, we captured the family portraits then headed outside for the bridal party shots and then finished the session with additional bridal portraits before it started to rain again! Sometimes, Florida just doesn’t give us a break, but rest assured we take every opportunity we can to provide the best lighting and portraits!

Their wedding reception was held inside as well at the Cypress Grove Estate House, which was beautifully decorated with floral decor from Runway Botanical and The Runway Collection! Our DJ Rocks also did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor packed and their Photobooth Rocks photobooth full throughout the evening! After all of the first dances, it was time to enjoy the great meal provided by the wedding catering team at Big City Catering! This was followed by the delicious rose red and cream-colored cake, created by the Publix Bakery! Once the wedding day was done, it was time to bid farewell to our couple as Stephen and Kelly ran through a beautiful sparkler exit and drove away! This was such an amazing wedding, and none of this could have been possible without wedding planner Hannah and her team at Runway Events!
