We’ve been looking forward to Sierra and Gabe’s wedding day for quite a while! For starters, their parents Georgia and Jeremy have really become family friends to photographer Steven, and we’ve really gotten to know Sierra and Gabe as we’ve been getting closer to their wedding day! We were so flattered when they reached out to us about being their wedding photographers, and of course we instantly said absolutely!
Their wedding day took place in a private front yard of a family friend, and when wedding photographer Steven arrived, he was blown away at the photo opportunities this property presented! We began the day saying hi to Sierra in her bridal suite, which was inside the main house, and it was so beautiful inside! Sierra already had her hair and makeup in place from Karmel Design Team! We captured a few photos of Sierra fluffing her wedding gown before it was time to get in the dress, with her mom helping her zip up! We made sure to capture some quick portraits of her and her sisters before heading over to Gabe and his boys, and little Koda, and capturing some portraits of them as well! After portraits, it was time to prepare for their outdoor wedding ceremony, and believe it or not, this trellis is built in to their backyard, it was gorgeous! Chelsea and her wedding planners with helped coordinate Sierra and Gabe’s reveal during the ceremony! Jeremy walked his daughter to the ceremony location, but Gabe made sure to stay turned around so he couldn’t see her until she started walking down the aisle towards him. His reaction, was priceless!! They incorporated a knot tying ceremony as well, and their vow exchange was one of the sweetest we’ve ever captured! After their big kiss, we captured family portraits, then took them around quick for more portraits before it was time for their wedding reception!
Again, this property really impressed us, their wedding reception was held inside an airplane hangar-style building, with the cocktail hour setup outside, and was so elegant with the draping and lighting from Get Lit Productions, and uplighting from DJ Jim of Fyerfly Productions! Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals also provided the tables, linen and decor! Sierra and Gabe walked into their reception with an energetic introduction and first dance! After the delicious dinner from Two Chicks and a Pot, we captured their parent dance, speeches, and their cake cutting with the gorgeous cake designed by Danielle Cribb of Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique. DJ Jim didn’t disappoint with rocking music and turning the party up! We snuck them out for some quick night portraits under that beautiful gazebo again before it was time for their sendoff. DJ Jim had a fun surprise for them, however! Little did Sierra and Gabe know that they planned a sparkler sendoff for them, but not just any sparklers, cold sparkler boxes! We can’t thank Sierra, Gabe, and their family enough for giving us SUCH an amazing wedding day to photograph! We can’t wait to see them again soon, and we wish them the very best!
