Shannon and Scott’s wedding day was pretty incredible, and was captured by wedding photographer Michael!! Their entire day took place at the Villas of Grand Cypress, down the street from the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress! We began the day capturing the tail end of wedding preparations, with Tiffany Paetzold providing the hair and makeup! Kelly Shannon Floral created the beautiful floral arrangements! Once Shannon and Scott are ready, we captured their intimate first look, then took them and their bridal party around for some super-fun portraits around the course and wedding venue! The Grand Cypress Villas even hooked us up with a golf cart to help us roam around and take advantage of awesome locations!
It was then wedding ceremony time, which took place in their main outdoor veranda area! Ashley Haynie, family friend, officiated their beautiful ceremony, including a poem read by Scott’s mom and of course the kiss! We followed the ceremony with family portraits and some gorgeous sunset images! We definitely LOVE to take advantage of sunsets if time is possible!
Their indoor wedding reception took place in the Grand Cypress Villa’s ballroom, with their wedding cake created by Publix, and Decor and Planning provided by the Villas of Grand Cypress wedding team! DJ Philo Entertainment rocked their dance floor throughout the night, and with an absence of parent dances, bouquet or garter tosses, or other formalities, they had a lot of party time!! They put priority on making sure that they and their guests had delicious food, which definitely explains why their guests nicknamed their wedding the “foodie wedding of the year!”. We had an AMAZING time with Shannon and Scott, and we wish them both the very best in the future!!
