Wedding Photos at Hyatt Regency Orlando

Brandon and Josh certainly knew how to throw a wedding day, that’s for sure! Photographer Steven Miller spent the day at the Hyatt Regency Orlando for their big day, and we had such an incredible time! This day has been a long time coming, since the pandemic pushed their wedding day back twice since their original date! However, we just have to say we’re SO happy that they insisted on keeping their wedding plans and sticking with us through all of this! We didn’t even get to photograph their engagement session until earlier this year, so we’ve been excited for this day for a while!

Steven began the day in their groom suites, and from the very start, Josh teared up when Steven wished him a happy wedding day and expressed how happy he was that the day was finally here, it was so sweet, and you could tell how excited they both were. Shortly after getting started, Greenery Productions arrived with their boutineers and floral arrangements, and Nick and Winnie from Nick Lilly Dot Com arrived to capture wedding videography beside us! Once Brandon and Josh were both dressed in their sharp suits and ready, we took them outside and setup their first look! First looks are such a great opportunity for the grooms to see each other before the ceremony, which allows us to capture so many more portraits in that same time-frame, allowing them to enjoy their cocktail hour! Typically couples can’t do that in a traditional wedding timeline since all portraits must be captured in that time. Their reaction when turning around to see each other was so priceless, we loved it, and we followed that with their bridal party portraits and even most family portraits, which was a great bonus for us!

Before we knew it, we had to take them back inside to get prepared for their wedding ceremony in the Hyatt’s Orchid Room! Maria with A Page in Time Ceremonies officiated their beautiful wedding ceremony with anecdotes of their love story, a ring and vow exchange, and of course the big kiss! Felix and Fingers also provided background music via piano around their ceremony. After their ceremony, we captured a few more family portraits, and then proceeded to the Orlando Ballroom to capture room photos of their wedding reception setup! DJ Kristin with Our DJ Rocks lit the room beautifully with amber uplighting, and their beautiful wedding cake was created by Hyatt Regency Orlando! Their wedding reception was full of so many fun moments, like their first dance, toasts, and a packed dance-floor full of dancing all night long! Taylor Rae Events made sure the glow-sticks were ready later in the evening as the party really got moving, which gave us some fun motion photos as well! We love working with Rachael of Taylor Rae Events, they do such a great job keeping everything on track throughout the wedding day and helping us out whenever possible! We had such an amazing day with Brandon and Josh, and we really cannot thank these two enough for hanging on to us through the pandemic and trusting us with their big day! Congratulations you two!😊💕
