Yasmine and Ryan’s wedding day was full of love and smiles, and they planned everything absolutely perfectly! For one, they planned their wedding ceremony and reception at the Arts & History Museum in Maitland, one of our favorite outdoor wedding venues in Orlando! This place transports you to a completely different place, like a Mayan temple, which is an awesome backdrop for a wedding day! Before we captured onsite, we met with Yasmine at their private home for her bridal preparations!
Eshe Todd and Kezia Fleming provided her bridal hair and makeup services, with which Yasmine was finishing up at the home. We captured a few details of her dress, shoes, and an awesome flat lay with her invitation suite and wedding day details! Once Yasmine was ready, we raced over to the Arts and History Museum to make sure Ryan was hidden from view. We took him over to the Main Garden area and set him up for their first look, where he would get to see his beautiful bride for the first time on their wedding day! We made sure to have In Bloom’s wedding flowers in hand first, then brought Yasmine over to the garden, and had her walk up behind Ryan, tap him on the shoulder, and have him turn around…YES! There were tears of so much joy, they saw each other, and just check out those reactions! We seriously love first looks, they’re a great chance for the bride and groom to spend an intimate, quiet moment together, which isn’t very common on a wedding day! After their tears were dry, we captured their bridal party and personal portraits around the garden! We then walked back over to the Mayan Chapel to prepare for their outdoor wedding ceremony!
Their ceremony took place within the chapel, which is an amazingly picturesque location, and usually always in good light! In front of their closest family/friends, Yasmine and Ryan exchanged their personal vows, their wedding bands, and of course the big kiss to seal the ceremony! Yasmine’s dad finished the ceremony with a traditional Cherokee Indian wedding prayer, where they both shared a drink from the wedding vase. We followed their ceremony with family portraits and a few extra personal portraits, especially Ryan rocking his GK suit with a cigar in hand; classy!
Their wedding reception also took place at the History Museum, but in their outdoor courtyard. Check out the beautiful decor and reception furniture provided by Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals, and we LOVED the travel centerpieces and wedding favors decorating the tables! Cocktails Catering also provided the delicious wedding dinner buffet! Yasmine and Ryan shared a first dance, followed by parent dances and then DJ Faith of Our DJ Rocks opened the dance floor and kept it packed all night! We did sneak our bride and groom away for a few night portraits, even playing with some color gels, and we’re pretty happy with how they turned out! Yasmine and Ryan were looking to keep their wedding day simple, easy-going, and fun, and we feel like they checked every box! We had an amazing time with these two, and we shared so many laughs together! We also have to send a special shoutout to Amber and her team at B Eventful; they provided some amazing coordination and planning throughout the day, and were such a big help for us! Congratulations to Yasmine and Ryan, we hope you enjoy your wedding sneak peek!
