Wedding Photography Historic Dubsdread Ballroom

Wedding Photographer Michael and his assistant Alice had the pleasure of capturing Stephanie and Jon’s wedding day at St James Cathedral Catholic Church and Historic Dubsdread Ballroom, some of our favorite wedding venues here in Orlando! Michael began the day capturing the bridal preparation of Stephanie and her bridal party as they got their hair and make-up done at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Orlando! Once Stephanie and her girls were ready, we headed over to the ceremony location in Downtown!

The ceremony was held at the St. James Cathedral Catholic Church which was officiated by Fr, Matthew Hawkins! The couple exchanged their vows, wedding rings then said their I Do’s! After the ceremony, we captured the family portraits along with bridal party shots and finished the session with Stephanie and Jon’s bridal portraits around the church!

When we arrived at Historic Dubsdread Ballroom for the reception, we had some time to get additional shots before the formal introductions into the party! We got some great shots of the groom and his groomsmen doing a homage to Happy Gilmore; be sure to look for those! Then we captured a toast shot to the newlyweds of the whole party with the couple’s favorite drink “White Claw”! Afterward, we captured some additional portraits of the newlyweds around the golf course! Before we knew it, it was time for Stephanie and Jon to make their grand entrance! The ballroom at Historic Dubsdread looked amazing with all the floral decorations by Lee Forrest Design! DJ Les with Soundwave Entertainment did a fantastic job playing tunes that kept the dance floor full all night long! Dubsdread Catering provided all the amazing food and catering! The delicious wedding cake was made by Publix Bakery which looked beautiful and sweet among all the decorations and flowers! After the cake cutting and some serious dancing on the dance floor, it was time to say farewell to our couple as they walked through their bubble exit! It was such a fun day, and we wish them SO MUCH happiness in their future together! Thank you for letting us share it with you!
