Venice Florida Photographers | Venice Yacht Club Wedding Photos

We recently took a road trip to Venice, Florida to capture the beachy wedding of Natalie & Steve! Orlando wedding photographer Steven and assistant Michael started their day at the Hampton Inn & Suites Venice capturing Natalie’s bridal preparations with help from Classy Styles providing bridal hair and make up. We then headed over to the Venice Yacht Club where we set the groom up in a private area to stage their intimate wedding first look. The beautiful bridal bouquets and boutonnieres were provided by Beneva Flowers & Gifts Inc. We then drove over to Maxine Barritt Park to prepare for their outdoor beachfront wedding ceremony. The large gazebo offered a unique circular set up where the bride and groom were surrounded by their close family and friends. A unique blend of Quaker traditions plus Hawaiian and traditional ceremonies from both sides of the family made up the ceremony, including exchanging handmade lei’s and guests telling heartwarming stories about the couple. A short walk from the ceremony site, Sharky’s on the Pier and their beachfront property offered a creative background and some great areas for the wedding party portraits and personal photos along the water.

After the sun set everyone headed over to the Venice Yacht Club again for drinks, dinner, and dancing in their indoor wedding reception! Jay Goodley Entertainment provided the rocking music and entertainment which even included a fun scavenger hunt! Reception uplighting was provided by DIY Uplighting! The bride and groom even brought the house down with a “techno-hour” which created a fun atmosphere filled with glow sticks, colorful lighting and lots of dancing! The couple concluded their dream wedding with a sparkler exit surrounded by family and friends. We had such a blast with Natalie & Steve and wish them the very best on their lifelong journey!!!
