Philadelphia Pennsylvania Wedding Photographers | Valley Forge Engagement

Sarah and Kevin know that we love to travel!!  Therefore, for their destination engagement session, they were so excited to fly our photographer Steven out to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!!  Kevin, our groom-to-be, grew up in Philly, and was so excited to know that we were going to take them to multiple locations within the state!!  Upon landing at the airport, we all met at baggage claim, picked up our rental car, and started our trip to the first destination!  Considering that we were staying near the big city, it only made sense to start our session in a more natural setting!  We agreed that Valley Forge, PA would be a great location to start, and it did not disappoint!  As soon as you enter the Valley Forge area, you are immediately transported to a 1700’s/ 1800’s landscape, full of forests, fields, bridges, and historical monuments and buildings!  It was such a great opportunity to take in the scenery and learn more about our nation’s past!!  We have to say, Sarah and Steven were both ecstatic that we found snow on the ground up there in the mountains!!  Of course, we had to photograph their snowball fights, it was pretty much inevitable!  Their chemistry is so perfect, these two were hilarious to photograph!!  Once our sun went down, we proceeded back to the city to turn in for the night, excited about what the next day would bring!  :)

Our first stop on the 2nd day was the iconic Philadelphia Eagles stadium, known as Lincoln Financial Field!  Keep in mind, this was actually the DAY before their championship game, which would cement their place in the Super Bowl coming up soon!!  We walked around the exterior of the stadium, taking advantage of the fun scenery already in place for game-day!  We stepped inside the lobby and noticed that they were conducting tours throughout the day, which were booked well in advance!  We pulled some strings and asked around, and, sure enough, we were able to magically secure tickets to one of the last tours of the day!!  To say that Kevin was in his element was a true understatement, he is quite possibly the BIGGEST Eagles fan to date!  The look on his face throughout the tour was awesome, and we of course snapped shots throughout the entire tour, including their press room and the Eagles locker room!!!  This was quite a rare treat considering that such a big game was scheduled the following day, and locker room tours are typically not permitted so close to game-day.  FLY EAGLES FLY!!!
