We were so honored to have captured Alexandra and Steve’s elegant Orlando wedding recently at Paradise Cove! We began the wedding day by capturing Alexandra’s bridal preparations at the Blue Heron Beach Resort right down the road with hair and makeup services provided by one of Alexandra’s bridesmaids and stepmother. We loved capturing the bride’s daughter to be, Moanna as she posed in-front of the camera for a few photos in the wedding dress! Alexandra then was surprised when she received a gift from her soon-to-be husband containing a brand new pair of Versace shoes! They fit perfectly and went along great with the James Bond-themed wedding! Before Alexandra got in her dress, we headed over to the guys’ prep room to grab a few prep shots. The guys kept the Bond theme going, having a table laid out with toy guns, nice watches, and cuff-links for each of the groomsmen! Steve also gave to all of his groomsmen Infinity watches because of their significance. The watch doesn’t tell time due to the lack of moving parts or watch face and, to Steve, they signify the idea that “time doesn’t matter”! He stressed to each groomsman that they should enjoy the moment and the company around them instead of worrying about time. Men’s Warehouse provided the guys with some snazzy suits, we loved Steve’s white suit coat!
Once she was ready, Alexandra stepped into her wedding dress in her private bridal cottage in Paradise Cove! We then captured a few bridal portraits with the beautiful floral arrangements created by Cheryl’s Distinctive Creations! Before we knew it, the ceremony was starting and the guys were arriving on a speedboat to the Dr. No theme! Classy right?! They jumped off the boat, guns (fake of course!) in hand, and stormed into the ceremony location while the girls walked down to Skyfall by Adele! Their ceremony was officiated by Alexandra’s Uncle and it included both Alexandra and Steve getting their hands wrapped in a rope and a kiss to seal the deal! After the “I-Do’s” we took a few family portraits and captured the newly married couple on the beach!
The bond theme continued into their reception with custom martini centerpieces! Cocktail’s Catering provided the chairs, linens, and draping and the wonderful hors d’oeuvres that were served throughout the night and Sweet! by Holly did an amazing job with the wedding cake design! DJ Jacob Towe mixed an awesome set of jams for the guests while also providing some great up lighting and projections! He even surprised everyone with a fog gun! The reception even had a caricature artist, Dee from Newstart Art, who provided guests with a unique wedding keepsake! Their wedding was a huge success and their exit was no different, they ran though a tunnel of glow sticks and hopped back on the boat with Bond music playing in the background! Special thanks to Digital Tiger Studios for capturing video throughout the day, we cannot wait to see the finished product!
We had such an amazing time at Alexandra and Steve’s wedding and we wish them all the best! Here’s to many more years!
