Recently, photographer Michael had the pleasure to photograph Patty & Dustin (or “Rocket” as he likes to call himself on the softball fields) during their intimate wedding vacation getaway! The couple contacted Just Marry! to help plan their perfect wedding, and they couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day! We love to photograph at Leu Gardens because you really cannot take a bad photo there! With the endless greenery and shady spots (even in the middle of the day), this location is perfect for an intimate wedding!
Once everyone was ready, we staged the first look near the ceremony site, because even though they traveled together, Dustin still hadn’t seen his bride in her wedding dress and couldn’t wait till the ceremony! Reverend Kevin Knox then escorted us all to the Idea Garden Gazebo, where they wanted the ceremony. However, it was pretty sunny in that location, and so we opted to move farther down the walkway into a cooler, shadier spot! After they exchanged their vows, rings, and of course a kiss, we took them around the park for portraits! Since Photographer Michael has photographed plenty of sessions in the park, he took the couple around the entire park to capture them in his favorite spots! We really appreciate it when couples are so willing to walk a bit during portraits because Leu Gardens has so many great locations to photograph in! We ended the session in the front of the park where Michael took his famous double exposure portrait with the bride’s bouquet from Raining Roses! We love that we can incorporate those details into our sessions and we are sure that the couple will too!
We cannot thank the vendors and Patty & Dustin enough for letting us capture their wedding day! Especially since this is an intimate wedding, we are so grateful that these images will be shared with everyone at home that could not be at the wedding! We hope to see you two again next time you are in Orlando! Congrats!
