Intimate Backyard Wedding | Orlando Wedding Photographers

For this intimate wedding, photographer Michael traveled to a small subdivision in Orlando to photograph Jhoma & Todd’s backyard wedding! Even though this was a small backyard wedding, you could tell their was tons of love in the air! We always love capturing intimate weddings because you can see the effort each person puts into the wedding and how much they enjoy celebrating each others love! This was no different as Michael was greeted with Todd stringing up the lights in the backyard, Todd’s mother setting the tables outside and Jhoma’s family preparing the empanadas for everyone later!

Like every other wedding, we love capturing the details and the whole story, so we took some details of Jhoma’s dress, her jewelry and her new Jimmy Choo shoes her soon to be husband bought for her! As a native Venezuelan, Jhoma wanted to incorporate her country into the wedding so she wore some jewelry from Venezuelan artist Walid Chebly Orfebre on her special day! As soon as Jhoma was ready, the soon to be married couple had their first look and portraits around the subdivision, we even grabbed a few with their well traveled dog – Bono!

Once we arrived back at the house, we took some family portraits before Jhoma and Todd exchanged vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss officiated by Pastor Monty Trammel of Orsino Baptist Church! It was then time to eat as everyone grabbed a plate from Tu Casa Restaurant and watched as Jhoma and Todd had their first dance! Before long, it was time to cut the cake and give the couple a fun finally to end the night! Everyone gathered around the backyard and lit Chinese lanterns and set off fireworks to celebrate the new couple!

Congrats again to Jhoma and Todd!! We had such a great time celebrating and we wish them many more years of happiness!
