Indiana Wedding Photographers Friendship Botanic Gardens

Wedding Photographer Michael from Steven Miller Photography had the pleasure of capturing the destination wedding of Andy and Kristen at amazing Friendship Botanic Gardens in Michigan City, IN.! Michael began the day by capturing Kristen’s bridal preparations with her mother and sister! Once she was ready, we stepped outside her quaint little cottage on the grounds for some portraits of her before she headed towards the ceremony!

From there, Michael headed down to the ceremony site to meet up with Andy and his best man to get pictures of them together! Afterwards, it was time for the ceremony which was held underneath an arched canopy at the Symphony Garden in the Friendship Gardens! So as their friends and family looked on, the couple exchanged their vows and rings in a ceremony that was beautifully officiated by Andy’s sister Christy! After the ceremony, we took some family portraits and then headed out throughout the garden and landscape areas to capture portraits of Kristen and Andy before it got dark!

Once the bridal portraits were done, we all headed towards the reception which, was held in the Wooden Pavilion where the guest enjoyed a great dinner from Classic Catering & Events of Bridgeman Michigan! When it was time to cut the cake, the couple decided to change the tradition and instead “Tap a Keg!” Both Andy and Kristen are avid brewers, and they had made a special brew to share with everyone on their wedding day!
