Harry Potter Themed Wedding Enzian Theater Maitland

Photographer Steven Miller had quite the magical time capturing the wedding day of Courtney and Fred at the Enzian Theater in Maitland, Florida! So amazing, this couple had an all-out themed Harry Potter wedding and it was incredibly fun to experience!! We arrived shortly before the ceremony to capture a few preparations and wedding photos of the awesome thematic decorations! It is incredible how they were able bring elements of the books and movies to life for their special day! Be sure to take a closer look at the Gringotts cake, the adorable sweets trolley from the Hogwarts Express, and the golden snitch candies, just to name a few! Courtney, representing Slytheran, wore a dress that was green and silver, which are the house colors! Fred, being a Gryffindor, wore red and gold of course!

Almost everyone who attended the wedding dressed up in either wizard robes or other Harry Potter themed costumes! Dumbledore was their wedding officiant and even the driver from the Night Bus made an appearance, ensuring that the wedding remain on schedule! With the Great Hall as their backdrop, the couple said their vows, and sealed the deal with the much anticipated kiss, and perhaps a spell! We took the family and bridal party outside the theater to snap a few portraits, while flirting with the typical Florida rain, as well as bridal party portraits and personal portraits! We had so much fun with this group! We had plenty of props to play with, including their wizard wands, books from the movie, and Fred even brought what appeared to be Godric Gryffindor’s sword! After their wedding portraits, we headed back inside the theater where Courtney and Fred shared their dragon cake cutting ceremony, with the cake created by Sugar, a few toasts by friends and family, and of course, the bouquet toss with Courtney! Did you spy what may have been crawling out of Fred’s Jurassic Park groom’s cake?! Photobooth Rocks also provided the awesome photobooth throughout their wedding reception! We had an absolute blast with this couple, their family, and fellow muggles! We LOVE it when couples truly make their wedding day theirs with their own style, and we so greatly enjoyed being part of this awesome wedding!! We wish Courtney and Fred all the best in the years to come!
