This family session was extra special for our family photographer Steven Miller! We got a phone call from a woman needing a family photographer for a quick backyard session! Her grand-daughter and her family were visiting from out of the country, and their family/friends were stopping by all day to visit with them before a big move to Japan! This was an ideal time to have a photographer handy to capture some family photos while they were here. The more we learned about this couple, Steven got very curious, and asked for the name of her grand-daughter; Sam! Turns out, Steven went to college and worked events together with Sam a LONG time ago, what a small world! They booked Steven, and Steven requested that they not tell Sam that he was going to be there.
On the day of, Steven arrived early to get details of the setup around Sam’s mom’s home. Charcuterie was setup for everyone by Charcuterie Orlando, and checkout the custom cookies created by Eight Arms Bakery. Sam, Brandon and their little Hailey May arrived shortly, and Sam was SO surprised to see us there!! It put smiles on our faces for sure! We spent the next hour capturing photos of the family together with Sam and her fam, plus some candids of everyone having fun around the house! You can absolutely tell how happy Sam and Brandon are with their adorable little girl, and we wish them the best of luck out in Japan, for the next chapter in their lives! You guys are going to have such a great time, and Steven was so happy to be part of this special moment! 💕📷
