Encore Farms Same Sex Wedding Photographers Palmetto

We had a great time with James and EJ on their wedding day at Encore Farms, in Palmetto Florida! For this same sex wedding, Orlando Wedding Photographer Steven Miller and assistant Megan began the day capturing both James and EJ getting ready at the same house, in separate rooms of course! Groom James had Shirel Lewis work on his hair while EJ had Rene Fox, from Hair by Rene Fox! Once ready, we headed out to the front yard with EJ to stage their “First Look”, and wow it was so sweet!! You can tell both these two are absolute goofballs, but it goes to show how comfortable they were with us! Once they shared their first look, we captured their family portraits, wedding party portraits, a chicken portrait (oh yes chicken!), then some personal portraits around the venue, featuring some of the local residents on the farm!

Their rustic outdoor wedding ceremony shortly followed outside in the front yard of the Encore Farms which featured the most beautiful floral arrangements by Skye Grundy and Kristen Marlow Andrews. Plus note the beautiful wooden row seats that gave the atmosphere more of a rural feel and charm! Chad London, family friend, officiated the wedding while James and EJ read their own personal vows, took a selfie in front of their guests, and of course sealed the ceremony with a kiss!

Following the ceremony, we captured a few more portraits then proceeded to the backyard to get ready for the reception under the beautiful historic oak trees and market lights at Encore Farms! The event planners and designers Skye Grundy, and Chad London did a wonderful job with the lighting, centerpieces and wedding day details! The linens and chairs were provided by St. Luke’s United Methodist Church! The drinks and the wonderful food was catered by Cheers Sports Bar in Kissimmee, Florida! The dance floor was rocking nonstop by the great music (and dancing!) from Robbie G of Elite Beats! The yummy cake was provided by Jaynee Smiths! At the end of the night James and EJ said their goodbyes as they ran through an exciting line of sparklers! Congratulations James and EJ, we wish you guys a lifetime of happiness and thank you for sharing your wedding day with us!
