Photographer Steven had a blast capturing this year’s Zombietoberfest, a community celebration put together by the incredible local businesses and neighbors of Audubon Park Garden District! This annual event returned with an exciting twist, it was spread across two fun-filled days this year! Saturday night’s festivities were centered around Alley No. 3 and the Audubon K-8 ballfield, featuring Kidstoberfest at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, a spooky concert performed on the church’s grand organ pipes, and an outdoor movie screening of The Goonies under the stars! The atmosphere was cozy, vibrant, and full of creative Halloween spirit.
The celebration continued on Sunday with the Daywalker Market, stretching from the East Plaza and Lobos parking lot all the way through the West Plaza and the district was absolutely alive with energy! Local makers, vintage vendors, and plant sellers lined the streets while The Gorefathers (a playful spin on “Forefathers”) performed live at Lobos Coffee Roasters. It was another unforgettable weekend of community, creativity, and Halloween fun in Audubon Park!
