Chuluota Florida Waterside Proposal Photographer

Photographer Steve had SUCH an amazing time capturing Halley and Jacob’s sweet proposal in Chuluota! Jacob’s mom actually reached out to us to capture this moment for her son, and it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly! The plan was to fake an event at a friend’s property, and when they arrived, he’d have a setup to pop the big question. On the big day, Photographer Steve arrived early to the property to scout the location and take prep photos, but it was raining hard. Steve communicated via text with Jacob to let him know he needed to stall to wait out the storm that was ending soon. A couple of Jacob’s close friends were there as well, and once it stopped raining, Steve hopped in to help them set everything up outside to save time and make sure it was all ready for Jacob and Halley’s arrival!

Photographer Steve and the couple’s friends hid behind some of the furniture in the backyard. Jacob walked Halley into the space, and noticed that there were large scrabble letters hanging from little poles along a pathway that spelled “finally” and “say yes” lol! Steve stayed hidden following behind as they walked down the path collecting these as they approached the lake at the end. Once they reached the dock, he dropped down to one knee and asked the big question, and of course she said YES! We spent the rest of the time capturing portraits around the backyard before another storm arrived to tell us we were done! Steve also gave them some celebratory Gideon’s Cookies before he left. To Halley and Jacob, thank you for trusting us with this special occasion! We are so happy we had the opportunity to be a part of it with you!
