Our Photographer Nelson captured such a precious wedding day for Aiden and Emily at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Historic Dubsdread Ballroom! They started the day at the church with Aiden and his groomsmen photos. What a fun bunch! Following these photos, we captured Emily’s dad seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time. It provided him a quiet, intentional pause to connect with his daughter among the whirlwind of the wedding day. Right after this heartfelt moment, it was time for the ceremony!
The ceremony took place at the gorgeous St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Aiden was accompanied by both his mom and dad down the aisle. Aiden gave his parents a hug before getting ready to see his bride! As Emily’s dad took her arm, he held on all the way until it was time to give her one last hug and gave Aiden a handshake. We can only wonder how proud, and happy he was while all the flash back memories from her childhood start coming back then to now a woman about to be married. They both exchanged their vows, and then it was time to seal it with a kiss! Immediately after, we captured family portraits, then a couple of bride and groom portraits at the church. Now it was time to party!
Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. Nothing we aren’t used to! We pivoted to photos of the bride with her bridesmaids, then the wedding party. We waited for the rain to clear to take more bride and groom portraits. Then it was time to join cocktail hour! While the bride and groom enjoyed chatting with their guests and enjoying music by Jeff Scott, photographer Nelson photographed the reception room detail shots. It is officially time to party now! DJ David of Soundwave Entertainment introduced the newly weds, shared their first dance, then everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Events by Dubsdread. When it was time for the speeches, the couple had a few surprises, and Aiden’s grandfather had a song and a few dance moves! Also his mom and her sisters (Aidens Aunt’s 😊 ) sang a song to the couple as well. It was amazing to watch! The couple cut the cake after speeches and danced the night away! After a fun time dancing and enjoying each other’s company, their friends and family send the newly weds out with a bubble exit. It was such a pleasure capturing all of the love throughout this wedding! We wish a lifetime of happiness to Emily and Aiden!
