Wedding Photographers at Portofino Bay Hotel Universal

Amanda and Eric’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous, and full of sun fun, silly, and emotional moments! Wedding photographers Steven Miller and Nelson were there to capture it all, and we had such a good time! They celebrated their big day at the Loew’s Portofino Bay Hotel, right in the heart of Universal Orlando! We began the day in Amanda’s bridal suite, while she and her ladies were getting their hair/makeup services by Kristy’s Artistry & Design Team! Even her sweet daughter Madelline felt like a princess with her hair accented with her flower piece! We captured a beautiful bridal flat lay with Amanda’s details, and once she was in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero bridal gown, we captured her first look with her dad, which was so beautifully emotional. There were tears! :) Nelson then went over to Eric and his boys, and captured their details and groomsmen portraits in the meantime. Once everyone was ready, we setup their wedding first look in one of the Italian alleyways! We had Amanda sneak up on Eric from behind, so he couldn’t see her approaching. She tapped him on the shoulder, he turned around, and…BAM! What an amazing reaction from her groom-to-be! We love photographing these first looks, they are always such a great intimate moment between the couple on such a big day!

We used the remaining time before ceremony capturing bridal party portraits and photos of the bride and groom around Portofino Bay Hotel! It was then time to head back to the Citrus Piazza for their outdoor wedding ceremony! Super sweet detail here, but Amanda’s brother served as the officiant, which made the ceremony even more meaningful. Amanda and Eric exchanged their vows, rings, and a unity candle ceremony before sealing the proceedings with the big kiss!! We followed their ceremony with family portraits, then proceeded inside to the Tuscan ballroom to capture details of their indoor wedding reception! The setup was spectacular. Pixies and Petals displayed gorgeous centerpieces on the tables, among other table decor from Portofino Bay Hotel and chargers from Oriental Trading. Check out the gorgeous cake also provided in house by Portofino Bay Hotel! DJ Jeff of White Rose Entertainment was setup and ready to get this party started, so after their room reveal with the wedding planners at Just Marry, the doors opened and the party began! They started with their first dance, speeches, and dinner! Then DJ Jeff cranked the music and got that dance floor thumping! Their reception was so energetic, and we were so happy to sneak Amanda and Eric (and Madelline!) outside to Citrus Piazza for some gorgeous night shots under their iconic gazebo, as well as the spiral staircase that Portofino is known for! Amanda and Eric made sure to exit in style through a line of their guests holding glowsticks! We seriously cannot thank these two enough for sharing such a fun day with us, and we with them both the very best, congratulations!!
