Fort DeSoto Park Engagement Photographer

Our sweet couple Danielle and Joe had a sense for adventure when planning their engagement session with their wedding photographer Steven! They took us to Fort DeSoto Park, on the west coast of Florida, and it was absolutely gorgeous! This park is home to beautiful, natural mangroves and island keys, a historic fort dating back to the 1800s, and hundreds of bird species! The island is a true paradise, and was an amazing backdrop for their session. We started the session at the historic fort, and we instantly became friends! They were so fun and goofy in front of the camera, which absolutely results in more natural, candid images. Lucky for them, we discovered cannons and other fun props, including a bow and arrow! We migrated over to the beach for a few more photos, trying hard to avoid a sunburn! We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and we know we’re going to be great friends, even after their wedding day at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club later this year!! Congrats you two!
