Intimate Outdoor Wedding at Kraft Azalea Gardens

Photographer Michael had an amazing time capturing the incredible sweet and intimate wedding of Renae and Joey at the Kraft Azalea Garden! Renae absolutely loves the gardens, and she maaay have used the word obsessed :-), and so it was the perfect spot for the couple to have their wedding ceremony! It was a small and intimate wedding comprised of Renae and Joey along with 12 of their close friends and family! Because of the threat of rain on the day of the wedding, the coupled decided to head to the location the day before to capture some portraits around the outdoor wedding venue! Mom accompanied the couple the day before and was busy sweeping away the leaves to clear the spot for the ceremony the next day! It was definitely a family affair!

Despite the cold front coming through, the weather held on the day of the wedding! The couple happily said their vows and sealed the deal with their special kiss! Dad was the officiant of the wedding and could not have been more proud to be part of such an incredible moment. After the ceremony, we took some family portraits as well as more portraits of the couple around the gardens. Because of the cold, Renae was wrapped in a towel in between photos and Joey was constantly cracking jokes! He joked that Renae’s “something blue” was her lips because she was so cold! Needless to say, there were plenty of laughs all around! We are incredibly grateful that Renae and Joy let us be a small part of their wonderful day! We had a great time and wish the couple all the best for the future!
